Job Description:  Responsible for the development of interior aircraft components for multiple OEMs.

Responsibilities:

Formulate conceptual design of aeronautical or aerospace products to meet customer requirements utilizing Catia V5 software.
Direct and coordinate activities of engineering or technical personnel designing, fabricating, modifying, or testing of aircraft or aerospace products.
Part proposal drawing: starting from rough design concepts up to detail/final drawings.
Responsible for all drawing information including: tolerance/fits, GD&T specifications, dimensional stacks and surface finishes.
Participates in engineering meetings and is fundamentally involved in the FMEA creation.
Attends meetings with customers, with respect to design/launch reviews.
Write technical reports and other documentation, such as handbooks and bulletins, for use by engineering staff, management, and customers.
Analyze project requests and proposals and engineering data to determine feasibility, productibility, cost, and production time of aerospace or aeronautical product.
Review performance reports and documentation from customers and field engineers, and inspect malfunctioning or damaged products to determine problem.

Requirements:

Degree in Engineering
3 + years aerospace interiors engineering experience.

P.Eng or P.Eng eligibility

Understanding of design process, techniques, and design tools, DFA, and DFMEA.
Demonstrated ability to be creative and innovative
Capable of developing new concept designs quickly
Quickly produce hand sketches to communicate design ideas.
Cooperate within a team environment and to work with minimal supervision. 
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent English communications skills – both written and oral
Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues
Must be highly motivated and a self starter
Complete projects within tight deadlines
Willingness to travel to client sites for on-site support
